Are you ready to take the next step? 

If your questions have been answered and you want to begin forming a union with the UAW, then the next step is to sign a UAW authorization card.  This card will be used to secure recognition and collective bargaining for the purpose of negotiating wages, hours, and working conditions.

Signing a UAW authorization card means you want:

• to become a member of the UAW
• a voice in your working conditions
• to join with your co-workers to make positive changes in your workplace
• to gain the expertise and strength of an international auto workers union with a negotiating history with Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi and the Big 3

It is the policy of the UAW to waive initiation fees for ALL employees who join the union before thirty (30) days after the signing of an initial collective bargaining agreement.
